Cusco – Mollepata – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake – Cusco

Our transport will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 4:30 and 5:00 AM to begin this unforgettable adventure to one of Peru's most impressive lakes: Humantay Lake, located in the Vilcabamba mountain range.

We will begin our journey to the district of Mollepata, enjoying a ride surrounded by spectacular Andean landscapes. Upon arriving in Mollepata, we will enjoy a comforting breakfast at a local restaurant to fuel up before continuing the adventure.

After breakfast, we will drive to Soraypampa (3,900 m.a.s.l.), the starting point of our hike. From here, we will begin an ascent of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, accompanied by specialized guides who will explain about the local flora, fauna and culture while you enjoy the impressive views of the Salkantay and Humantay mountains.

Upon reaching the summit, you will be greeted by the imposing beauty of Humantay Lake, whose turquoise waters contrast with the white snow-capped mountains surrounding it. You will have time to rest, take photographs and connect with nature in this magical place.

After enjoying the splendor of the lake, we will begin the descent to Soraypampa, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to Mollepata. Here, we will enjoy a buffet lunch with typical dishes of the region. After lunch, we will embark on the return journey to Cusco, arriving approximately at 6:30 PM.
