Day 1

Arrival in Cusco + City Tour

Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to hotel. Recommended flight arrival between 09:00-10:00 AM. Between 12:30-12:50, City Tour: Cusco Cathedral with its artistic richness, Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuamán with its imposing stone walls, Q'enqo, Tambomachay with ceremonial fountains and Puka Pukara, the red fortress. End approximately 6:30 PM.

Day 2

Sacred Valley + Connection to Aguas Calientes

Pickup between 07:30-07:50. Visit to the archaeological site of Pisaq with its colorful market and agricultural terraces. Buffet lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, Ollantaytambo, a strategic military, religious and agricultural center with terraces and imposing constructions over four meters high. Train to Aguas Calientes where hotel staff will welcome you.

Day 3

Machu Picchu Excursion + Return to Cusco

After breakfast, bus to Machu Picchu. 2-hour guided tour discovering the history, secrets and extraordinary legacy of Inca civilization. Descent to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Free time to explore and shop. Return train to Ollantaytambo and transport to Cusco.

Day 4

Maras Living Experience

Transfer to Chinchero where weaving women share their ancestral art, showing the process of traditional textile making full of symbolism. We continue to the community of Misminay, welcomed with music. Families share knowledge of Andean medicine and we participate in preparing the ancestral pachamanca and uchucuta (Andean chili). Lunch: tasting the pachamanca prepared by you. In the afternoon, Moray (Inca agricultural laboratory with circular terraces) and the Maras Salt Mines with thousands of salt pools.

Day 5

Rainbow Mountain Excursion

Early departure (04:00-04:30 AM). Breakfast in Cusipata (3,310 masl). Continue to Fulawasipata (4,660 masl) where the hike begins. 2-hour ascent observing llamas, alpacas and vicuñas to Vinicunca (5,200 masl), where the natural colors of the mountain create an unforgettable scenery. Descent, lunch and return to Cusco (arrival 4:30 PM).

What documents do I need for the trip?
You need your valid passport or ID document. It is important to bring the same document you provided at the time of booking, as train tickets and Machu Picchu entrance are issued with that information.
What happens if I get altitude sickness?
It is common to experience mild dizziness or headaches at altitude. We recommend resting the first few hours, drinking coca tea and staying hydrated. In severe cases, we have medical assistance available.
Can I climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain?
