Day 1
Transfer from your hotel in Cusco at 6:00 AM to Alfamayuc, at Abra Malaga (4,350 m). Here you will receive cycling equipment (bike, helmet, gloves and protection gear) and safety instructions.
We will begin the thrilling mountain bike descent to Santa Maria (1,430 m), a 3 to 4-hour ride through spectacular landscapes from the highlands to the cloud forest. The nearly 3,000-meter descent is a pure adrenaline experience.
In the afternoon, for those seeking more adventure, there is an option for level III rafting on the river. Overnight at lodge in Santa Maria.

Day 2
Hike through the tropical jungle, crossing coffee and coca plantations. We will follow the Tropical Inca Trail, an ancestral path with original Inca stairs and views of the Vilcanota River canyon.
In the afternoon, for adrenaline seekers, there is the option of zip-lining for 2 hours, flying over the canyon on lines up to 400 meters long.
Arrival at Santa Teresa where you can optionally enjoy the Cocalmayo hot springs. Distance: 12 km. Hiking time: 9 hours. Difficulty: difficult.

Day 3
Hike to Lucmabamba, followed by the ascent to the Llactapata ruins along the original Inca Trail. From this archaeological site we will have a privileged view of Machu Picchu across the valley.
We will descend enjoying a natural waterfall until reaching Hidroelectrica station. From here, we will walk along the train tracks to Aguas Calientes, with a stop at the beautiful Mandor waterfall.
Hiking time: 5-6 hours. Difficulty: moderate to challenging.

Day 4
At 8:00 AM we will take the Consettur bus to the Machu Picchu citadel. Our specialized cultural guide will lead a guided tour of approximately 2 hours through the most important highlights of the Inca city.
After the guided tour you will have free time to explore on your own. Those with reservations can climb Huayna Picchu for a spectacular panoramic view. Afterwards we will take the return train to Ollantaytambo and then the bus to Cusco.
Distance: 4 km. Difficulty: easy.
