Frequently Asked Questions

Can I do the Inca Trail without trekking experience?
Yes, it is possible, but prior physical preparation is recommended. The trail is well-maintained and professional guides assist at all times. Being acclimatized to altitude is important.
Can children do this trek?
It is recommended for those over 12 years old in good physical condition. Minors must be acclimatized and able to walk several hours per day at altitude.
What is the best time to do the Inca Trail?
