Day 1

Arrival in Cusco + City Tour

Reception at Cusco airport and transfer to hotel. Recommended flight arrival between 09:00-10:00 AM. Between 12:30-12:50, City Tour: Cusco Cathedral with its artistic and architectural richness, Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuamán with its imposing stone walls, Q'enqo, Tambomachay with ceremonial fountains and Puka Pukara, the red fortress. End approximately 6:30 PM.

Day 2

Super Valley + Connection to Aguas Calientes

Pickup between 06:30-06:50. Visit to Chinchero, a picturesque town where artisans showcase their colorful and traditional textiles. We continue to Moray, an amazing Inca agricultural laboratory with circular terraces creating unique microclimates. Then the Maras Salt Mines, with over 3,000 salt pools gleaming under the sun. Lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon, Ollantaytambo, an impressive strategic, religious and agricultural archaeological center. Train to Aguas Calientes where hotel staff will welcome you. Briefing about the Machu Picchu visit the following day.

Day 3

Machu Picchu Excursion + Return to Cusco

After breakfast, bus to Machu Picchu enjoying the lush nature of the sanctuary. 2-hour guided tour discovering the history, secrets and extraordinary legacy of Inca civilization. Descent to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Free time to explore the town and shop. Return train to Ollantaytambo (approx. 2 hours) and transport to Cusco.

It is common to experience mild dizziness or headaches at altitude. We recommend resting the first few hours, drinking coca tea and staying hydrated. In severe cases, we have medical assistance available.
Can I climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain?
